The Church of the Ascension strives to be: 

'A welcoming church that lifts Jesus up 
by celebrating God's love in our community.'

We welcome you to the church of the Ascension, which is in Edinburgh Road on the Harrowby Estate to the North edge of the town of Grantham, Lincolnshire.

The Church of the Ascension is a medium sized, 1960's built, octagonal church seating up to around 85 people comfortably. It is attached to a substantial and well-appointed church hall, which sits to the rear of the large sanctuary area. 

Communion services are held twice a month, Common Worship being the usual format. A more informal Service of the Word and an All Age Family Service are held on the first and third Sundays of each month and in a five-week month a Healing service or an extra Holy Communion service takes place.

Morning Prayer takes place each Tuesday morning at 9.00am in the church. 

The hall has a stage and a well appointed kitchen facility. There are also a number of smaller rooms to the rear of the church sanctuary that are used variously for groups or are available to let.

The church has a small enclosed car park at the rear and some lawns with trees and shrubs as frontage.
